Description

The Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) is a tall, elegant wading bird commonly found near rivers, lakes, and wetlands across Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa. With its long neck, sharp beak, and graceful posture, it patiently stalks fish and amphibians in shallow waters. Often seen standing motionless or gliding slowly with powerful wingbeats, the grey heron is a master of stealth and precision.
